Last week an avalanche slid across the Hurricane Creek trailhead access road. Emily and I finally had a chance to check it out. It was a monster for sure.
Looking down towards Hurricane Creek.
We didn't hike to the crown, but it appears this was a slow moving wet slide that ran about 2000 vertical feet. There were some good sized trees in the debris pile and ran to the ground in some places.
Luckily nobody was parked at the trailhead on the other side.
